Task Assistant¶
The daily task wizard report is a section where SSMCM users can view information about a number of critical processes that occur during the process of updating the information collected and displayed by SSMCM:
- New accounts
- Errors in updating services
- Scheduler errors
- Backup errors
- Backup cleanup errors
- Monitoring alerts
- Maintenance of cloud services
- Cloud provider alerts
- Cost alerts
- Expiring certificates (AWS ACM, AWS IAM, Azure)
New accounts¶
Displays in a table the new accounts found after running the daily autodiscovery scripts for accounts linked to organizations that are accessed.
The table allows us to see the following information:
- Account ID
- Account name Alias Supplier
The links in the "Account ID" and "Account Name" columns allow us to view full account information in a modal window, and the "View All" button allows us to access the Accounts section Accounts and see the complete list of accounts inventoried by the application.
Errors in updating services¶
Displays in a table, with a limit of 10 rows, the errors that have occurred during the daily service update process, while scripts that update inventories related to accounts that are accessed have been running.
The table allows us to see the following information:
- Account ID
- Account name Supplier Service Duration Message
The links in the "Account ID" and "Account Name" columns allow us to view account information in a modal window, and the "View All" button allows us to access the section that collects the Service update status logs and view the complete listing, filtered by status error and sorted ascending by account name.
Scheduler errors¶
Displays in a table, with a limit of 10 rows, the errors that have occurred during the process of running schedulers on objects related to accounts that are accessed.
The table allows us to see the following information:
- Task name
- Object ID Supplier Service *Date
- LOG level *Message
The link in the "Task Name" column allows us to see the task information in a modal window, and the "View All" button allows us to access the section that collects the Scheduler LOGs and see the complete list, filtered by status error and sorted descending by date, showing first the most recent LOGs.
Backup errors¶
Displays in a table, with a limit of 10 rows, the errors that occurred during the backup script execution process on objects related to the accounts that are accessed.
The table allows us to see the following information:
- Account ID
- Account name Supplier Region Service Message
The links in the "Account ID" and "Account Name" columns allow us to view account information in a modal window, and the "View All" button allows us to access the section that collects the Backup LOGs and see the complete list, filtered by status error and sorted descending by date, showing first the most recent LOGs.
Backup cleanup errors¶
Displays in a table, with a limit of 10 rows, the errors that have occurred during the process of executing the backup cleaning script on the objects related to the accounts that are accessed.
The table allows us to see the following information:
- Account ID
- Account name Supplier Region Service Message
The links in the "Account ID" and "Account Name" columns allow us to view account information in a modal window, and the "View All" button allows us to access the section that collects the Backup Cleanup Logs and see the complete list, filtered by status error and sorted descending by date, showing first the most recent LOGs.
Monitoring alerts¶
Displays in a table, with a limit of 10 rows, alerts about objects related to accounts that are accessed, collected by monitoring services, such as New Relic, during the last 24 hours.
The table allows us to see the following information:
- Account ID
- Account name
- Object ID Supplier Service Date Gravity *Message
The links in the "Account ID" and "Account Name" columns allow us to view account information in a modal window, and the "View All" button allows us to access the section that collects the Monitoring Alerts and see the complete list, filtered by status error and sorted in descending order by date, showing the most recent alerts first.
Maintenance of cloud services¶
Displays in a table, with a limit of 10 rows, the scheduled maintenance planned for the next few days on the objects related to the accounts to which you have access.
The table allows us to see the following information:
- Account ID
- Account name
- Object ID Supplier Service Region Date
- Type of event *Message
The links in the "Account ID" and "Account Name" columns allow us to view account information in a modal window, and the "View All" button allows us to access the section that collects the Scheduled maintenance and see the complete list, ordered in ascending order by date, showing first the nearest maintenance.
Cloud provider alerts¶
Displays in a table, with a limit of 10 rows, alerts from cloud providers about services related to the accounts that are accessed.
The table allows us to see the following information:
- Account ID
- Account name
- Object ID Supplier Service Region Message
The links in the "Account ID" and "Account Name" columns allow us to view account information in a modal window, and the "View All" button allows us to access the section that collects the Cloud Provider Alerts and see the complete list, sorted in descending order by date, showing first the most recent alerts.
Cost alerts¶
Displays in a table, with a limit of 10 rows, cost alerts about services related to accounts that are accessed.
The table allows us to see the following information:
- Account ID
- Account name
- Object ID Supplier Service Region Message
The links in the "Account ID" and "Account Name" columns allow us to view account information in a modal window, and the "View All" button allows us to access the section that collects the Cost Alerts and see the complete list, sorted in descending order by date, showing first the most recent fins.
Expiring certificates¶
Displays in a table, with a limit of 10 rows, the certificates related to the accounts that are accessed that will expire in the next 30 days.
We can view information about the expiration of the following types of certificates:
- AWS ACM Certificates
- AWS IAM Certificates
- Azure Certificates
- API Management Certificates
- AppService
- Key Vault
The table allows us to see the following information:
*Name * Expiration date * Account ID * Account name
The links in the "Account ID" and "Account Name" columns allow us to view account information in a modal window, and the "View All" button allows us to access the inventory of corresponding certificates and see the complete list, ordered in ascending order by date, showing first the certificates with the nearest expiration date.
